Interesting timing with this thread. I just watched the movie Arrival two nights ago....the ending sucked imo.

I would probably frantically get everything ready to go from a preps standpoint and wait to see how it begins to unfold. Once the dominoes begin to fall I'll have a better idea on how best to proceed which would either be to bug out or bug in.

Battle: Los Angeles? We can take those fools, no problem.

Alien Outpost? Heavies will be more problematic to deal with on the ground, but killable with heavier ordnance.

Signs? It would almost be sad how massively fucked those poor aliens would be.
