Either wild grape vines sprouts or maple seedlings. They both look nearly identical at that stage of growth.

Fair enough. Now...stop googling what color beard glitter matches your flannel shirts and look at your surroundings to figure it out.

Maple no make itchy!!!
they will make good shade trees. They grow fast and they will get huge in 50 years time. We had some in the front yard that got 100 feet tall. Too tall. Lightning got them both.

I have one that needs to be cut now, but it is full of sparrow hawks. A bonded pair of the birds have claimed it as their nest. I am not going to cut it so long as the stay in the tree.

Cool ass birds.

So it is is a maple tree, and they have a life span of 40-70 years as yard trees.

Good trees.

Just because I have a beard and sometimes wear flannel does not mean I use glitter on it

If these are baby maple trees, why are there 7 billion of them in an unused portion of my wife's garden?

Also, I've seen plenty of poison ivy (and had plenty of rashes because of it ) but I've never seen any of the other jerkoff poison plants, which I'm sure I'm also allergic to

Because a gust of wind blew a bunch of the helicopter like seeds into your AO. This is how some reforestation is done.

stop guessing and asking nitwits on the internet.

don a pair of latex gloves.  pull a few of those plants.  put them in a ziplock bag.

take them to a local agricultural co-op (sometimes called an "agricultural extension office").

the folks at the desk will tell you in 30 seconds what you have there.

Crazy year with lots of moisture here and out by you as well. Even by my other home in NE PA. Lots of maples sprouting. My brother out by you had them coming up all over in his lawn this year.
He had the same concerns as you and had to call his resource manager brother.
