Cold is good, cold is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit him with it.

It's Texas.. get an outside job or active hobby and save money on the gym..

I kind of hate cold gyms, the only thing worse is a warm pool.

The industrial sized AC in my gym has been broken for like 4 yrs. So recently, like 95 degrees. I think 78-80 would be perfect tho

I'd trade you. My gym is two story and the weight area is upstairs. The cheap bastards keep it at like 80 degrees. Fine if your standing still, but for working out? Not a fan.

Start working out.

You won't be cold.

I don't like to sweat so I'm glad that they set the temp a little lower. Besides, massive body odor from a lot of people would smell like India.

Temp at the gym I use is set to 65!  Even at that temp I am soaked with sweat about half way through my work out!

Sweat has nothing to do with burning calories or the quality of your workout. Heat doesn't make you better.

Powerlifting gym in my garage. Weather station says 99 degrees with a 110 heat index. Just got done with a light workout.

That's not ideal.

Gym should be warm. 72+

Goodluck with your injury goals if you plan on lifting heavy in a cold gym

Your joints and muscles need warm temps to operate better, otherwise they constrict and you're on your way to nogainesville, with a possibly detour to snap-city along the way

I prefer it to be warm and feel more energetic when the gym is

This needs to be clarified. Sweat on its own is not an indicator. However, heat is a product of your body converting macros into usable energy for your muscles. Sweat under these load cycles is an indicator.

I'm very prone to overheating, that's why I prefer to live in cold places.

I don't like to exert myself in the heat.
