Recently got the WW2 rifle bug and my small collection acquired a 1941 No4 MK1 Long Branch. I didn't know what those were, I was just looking for a .303 Lee Enfield when I came across it. Interesting reading during my research and am now very glad I grabbed it, as they are reported to have some desired features. This rifle is in good condition for it's age, BUT, you can see the history in it's nicks and dings. This rifle saw some action.

No way to know where, or who carried it, or what significance it had on this guy or that guy's fate. Juno beach? The drive across Europe? Nobody will ever know. It did get me thinking that we don't thank you guys enough. You are always with us when the chips are down and we appreciate it. You guys are good neighbors to have...eh!

THANK YOU

I've always wanted one of those, but still haven't gotten around to it yet.  I probably should since the price of WWII stuff seems to be skyrocketing.

The local gun shop just sold an M1 Garand with non matching parts, badly refinished wood and about 30% left in the bore for $1,000.
