This little guy provided some entertainment chasing other lizards around while I was tending burn pile and cutting up limbs and trees. Finally he stopped long enough for me to notice that he looked odd. 3 more days before I could get a decent pic. Fast little bugger, has taken on a couple lizards bigger than him and ran them off his lawn. Was cleaning out the photos on the camera and found one, out of around 20 or so, that was clear enough; so thought to post it.
Is about 3 inches long (max), or so. What is he? Never seen a lizard with racing flags off the hips and, the protrusions on the back of the neck (almost looks like it's plated) like that. Checked Oregon wildlife, wiki, and a few randoms but, not seeing one like it.
