Well I have a Sprigfield Armory 1911 Champion. And did own a Berreta 92FS With 6 hi-caps magsw until it got stolen.Still have most mags. MY Question is what would you suggest for a replacement, I'd prefer someting with night sights and hi-caps mags,What would you suggest? What is the recoil differance bettwen 9mm and 357sig in a clock mid size?

since you already have 6 hi caps get you another 92fs.my 92fs is one of my most valued handguns.you gotta have one.next on your list should be a .40 cal get a glock g22..357 sig has more snap than 9mm.similar to .40 cal.no big deal but accuracy will suffer a bit.

You might want to take a look at Para Ordnance .45's.  Double stack magazines available, proven handgun design.

How about a Walther P99 in military green?

Love the Walther P-99 w/green frame.

Only problem, if you're not LE, you're stuck with the 10 rnd mags.

Maybe in .40S&W ten rnds ain't so bad.

there seems to be alot of buzz about the hs2000
made in croatia.
$289 is the average price comes with 2 10rd mags but with a slight modification will accept beretta mags.
and the mod to the mags in no way effects the function to their original form, so you are still 922 compliant
iirc the web site for info on them is www.hs2000talk.com
or www.HSarms.com

gotta beat the drum ...

Get a GLOCK G35.  It is roughly the same size as the barretta.  It is .40 cal, has a 3.5# trigger, and shoots like a dream.  takes G22 high caps.

If you don't mind Single Action, go for a Browning Hi-Power.  You can still find plenty of hi-cap mags at the gun shows, and just about anyone that knows 1911's can customize one for you.

If not single action, nothing beats the Glock.  I've got a model 23 with Trijicon night sites.  Hi caps are pricey, but definitely still out there.
