| I bought some heads from a scum bag on an LS forum. He didn't respond to my messages for 10 days so I filed a dispute. It's been 3 days and he hasn't been responding to paypal. How long will this drag out? |
| I'd say give them a call for sure. I had a dispute that hadn't moved in over a week. Called them, spent maybe 10-15 minutes tops on the phone and had it moving again. I want to say the entire claim process ended up taking about 25 days for me give or take. Might have been faster if I would have called from the beginning. |

I have a guy filing a dispute against me ATM.
I agreed to refund him as soon as I got my goods back, but he insisted on filing a claim. 
Now on my end, every time I have tried to deal with the claim I get an error message telling me Im trying to use an older version of the page that Igot following their link.

I've filed PayPal disputes as a buyer 3 times. All went exactly the same:
8 days after I opened dispute, with no response from seller, PayPal lmk that they ruled in my favor, and I would get funds back. 6-8 weeks after that, PayPal put money back into my account. Ymmv |

Be careful refusing a shipment that he claims to have shipped to satisfy the paypal dispute, I have never seen that turn out good for the buyer. Paypal could just say nope, he shipped and it showed up and you refused it. So play it carefully Paypal is NOT governed by the same laws and regulations as banks and credit card companies. Quoted:
