So I have been out of time for several days and turned on my PC, there's some new yuuggeee update that took about 10 minutes.
WTF is this about? Some Windows 10 Creator? Anything special? |

Here you go.
My experience with the creative update involved it corrupting the bootmgr and having to call Microsoft 4 time before finally getting someone who knew what they were doing just so I could finally get it to install. So far it has been running ok. (cross my fingers) Vulcan94 |

| I found out none of my Win10 PC's were updating. The only one taking updates was version 1703. I had to install the Creators Update manually on all the others so they would take updates. Then one of them had some office updates that would never install, even after running the troubleshooter and manually deleting the files about a dozen times. Freaking shit man, they didn't do away with service packs, they just stopped calling them service packs lol. Pretty absurd it would have this many issues with updates. Glad I didn't upgrade my whole network to Win10 yetz. |
Just an update. But MS wants to be Apple and resets your default programs each time there is a major update, so you have to use shitty Apple style apps that suck just as much that no one wants to use. MS gets a lot of hate for trying to copy Apple and I understand it, because the way Apple does things sucks. The problem is they're forcing it on your computer, when most people don't give much of a fuck about a phone.

My last update killed the audio on my PC. For some reason Win10 has made it a huge pain to get a proper driver installed for it (never had this problem before). Final straw for me was windows defender keeps deleting an *.exe I need erroneously claiming it's infected. I've had to reinstall multiple times, turn off defender and yet it still screws it up. I'm starting to think the buttons to disable certain features aren't really tied to anything and are just a visual.
As soon as my internet is back up I'm putting Linux Mint back on here. I was doing win10 for the gaming aspect but I can handle a few less FPS on CS:GO to not have to deal with windows any longer. A VM win7 or even XP will be plenty should i ever need it. |

I have 5 PC's between work and home and have zero problems with Win 10. What are you people doing to your PC's to have constant problems? ![]() |
