I've been working with excel for many years and have never seen this before. Refer to the screen shot below.
On the far left, left of the Row Numbers a mystery column has shown up which shows a small 1 and 2 at the top of the column, and what looks like a + - slide bar left of the Rows 30 to 33. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Anyone know what this feature is and how to remove? thanks. ETA to add the screen shot:

If I even knew what to call it or describe it in Excel Help, I would have used that. Without knowing what it is, it's hard to find it. |
