Good stuff. Grew up on Monty Python. I remember having to explain to my grade school teacher, my cartoon based on the skit with the people falling past the window.

O.P.:  WELL DONE.  Yet another generation can enjoy a brand of comedy that is timeless. The lad will do well.  He is obviously going to be a young man of various, well rounded cultural and comedic insight.  I don't care if you're six or sixty, FARTS IS FUNNY!
Love Monty Python.  Good deal of my H.S. years were spent watching, quoting, and laughing about them.  They will stand in time as an acquired taste in comedy but once you get it, they will stay with you forever. He didn't discover them on his own, I'm sure you had a hand in it. HA!
My daughter and I trade lines of all "classic comedy", and the bride looks at us, rolls her eyes, and tells us that we are definitely twisted.  Mission accomplished.

Would love to relate more but there's a "penguin on the telly".
Thanks for the chuckle.

Awesome.  I remember when I stumbled on Monty Python's Flying Circus on PBS late one evening.  I made it a point to be in front of the tube to watch it every night!  (Didn't have the luxury of a VCR at the time...)

My kids have been exposed to various English stuff before, since my family is from England. But this was the first time they had seen Monty Python. They've also seen Fawlty Towers.
