I knew Designated Survivor was skewing left, what with gun control, making the conservative senator look like a mean-spirited cowboy, etc., but I accidentally tuned into the last few minutes of Quantico last night and the themes were a Constitutional Convention out of control and a President leaking secrets to Russians or some such shit. I turned it right off.
You can't watch the news or read the papers any more, but now you can't even sit down and enjoy some TV drama without getting deluged with propaganda. Fuck those shows. Right in the pussy. |

I started in on Designated Survivor, got up to about the 10th episode or so... it does seem like they're trying to skew it to where the badguys are right wing anarchists or some shit. |

A lot of otherwise good shows are fucking themselves with this type of shit. Recently Scandal has started going this route, it is becoming difficult for writers and producers to contain their butt-hurt over Trump's win.
Just hope Blacklist doesn't shit the bed in the same manner. |
| Watching Deep Space Nine, Last Man Standing and NCIS on Netflix. No cable or satellite. Not much current programming that I want my 12 year old daughter watching. In fact NCIS is for the wife and I. Daughter prefers Mr. Ed, Petticoat Junction, Beverly Hillbillies and Bewitched anyway. |
