At a gun show and found a ballooned sxs shot gun. I would like to cut it down but it doesn't have numbers own it. How does it work with no serial numbers

Either it's too old to have a serial number, or the S/N was destroyed and you want to avoid it like the plague.

If it was too told to have a serial number the you would make one up and have it engraved along with your name/city/state.
