Not too bad, I do love the red beer though, weird how many folks don't like it. Mayo on broccoli though?? Wow, that's like making your salad dressing with castor oil..BLECH!!!
Broccoli should be tossed in olive oil, roasted single layer on a baking sheet in oven at 425-450 until it starts to brown (you'll know by the smell first and the color second). Turn oven heat off and pull it out and sprinkle with the creole seasoning of your choice (I prefer Tony C), fresh ground black pepper, garlic powder and sprinkled generously with grated Parmesan cheese. Return it to oven for 3-5 minutes or until parmesan starts brown. Always watch carefully for the last few minutes of initial oven time and second oven time to avoid burning. You want the broccoli browned, not blackened. I don't care if you hate broccoli, you will love it like this. Insanely delicious and very healthy. |
