How many of you still occasionally eat them? The ones with the Capri Sun drink in it and the Reeces Peanut Butter Cup transports me back to 90's goodness

Are you hungry?

I never had one. My 6 year old granddaughter likes them.

I work 2nd shift so I don't always have the energy to cook something at 1am so I usually have a small stash if stuff that I can eat without much preparation, Lunchables are often in that stash.

The few I had didn't include the extras.   Just crackers, meat and cheese.

I love food threads on this website. I swear I do. I saw a guy a few days ago at a hotel eating a bologna sandwich. Damn it smelled good. And looked good. I have been craving a bologna sandwich ever since.

My fiancee will take the pizza ones and turn them into some gourmet eating.

It's confusing and the effort she puts in could be used elsewhere, but I can't say anything...
4/6/2017 1:40:35 AM EDT
[#11]
I still carry them to work, I'm 31.

Pizza ones can be surprisingly good with slight microwave usage.
4/6/2017 1:46:49 AM EDT

I have them occasionally, not the ones with the drink though.

Look, that shit was great when I was a kid. But let's be honest, you can consume a Lunchable in 2 measly bites.

I haven't eaten one in a while. I prefer a meat and cheese sandwich over a lunchable.

Like, perhaps, a bologna sandwich with Miracle Whip?

way too expensive  for two measly bites of crap processed food like stuff.

Sorry weren't around when I was a child. Seems like a lot of money for stale cheese and crackers and dried out lunch meat.
How ever that's just one old farts opinion, take for what it's worth. I know nothing, but too each his or her own.

I'll grab one if I happen to see them in the store, back in my day you had ham/turkey with cheese and crackers...the Lunchables out now are amazing.

FYI- Subways is the adult lunchable.... everything is precut, prepackaged and you pay someone else to put it on the bread for you.... disgusting!
I hate subway with a passion. Port of subs all the way.

I work in a refrigerated distribution center for a grocery store chain.  We find Lunchables every night that have been opened and rat fucked by thieves.  They fire somebody about once a week for stealing them.

Loss prevention confronted one guy for stealing around 20 Lunchables.  They said he told them it was probably over 300, because he took one or two every night.  They pressed charges against him over it.

Bout the only time I do is while fishing. Small and easy to throw in the cooler of the drift boat and break out and eat as we go.

I like the smaller ones. Just meat, cheese and crackers.

Sometimes I wish they would make them with more "adult". Like an antipasto meal on to go. Salami, prosciutto, olives, mozzarella, etc.
They could make a deluxe version that gets rid of the Capri Sun for a mini bottle of wine

Yes. 30 seconds and you have a delicious snack

I find myself buying the pizza ones once or twice a year when they are 10 for $10.

They have a different crust now than when I was a kid, and they don't use Tombstone sauce anymore either.

But that shit still tasty.

I, manly man I am, hacking out my primitive homestead in the uncharted Missouri wilderness, make my own.

Lunchmeat, cheese, and Club crackers.  How hard can it be?

I still eat them for lunch sometimes. Just the plain cheese, meat and crackers ones though.

I always made sure to not use too much so I could drink the rest out of the pouch. Tombstone ftw

This. The junk food in the others ruin it for me.

Though I usually eat two for lunch. I'll have a single one for a snack though.

Usually at least one a week for lunch.

There are adult lunchables (by another name) that I bring almost everyday.
4/6/2017 6:16:25 AM EDT
[#38]
I still eat the cheese, meat, cracker ones along with a grocery store salad from the salad bar once in a while.

Gotta keep the veggie intake up but sometimes the other fixins on the bar are nasty.

Thus, hitting the lunchable aisle.

An another note, DO NOT BE TEMPTED by the Hormel "wrap" offering near the Lunchables.  JUST NO. DON"T DO IT.  I like Hormel stuff but THOSE things are NASTY.

Skip the boxed crap & just eat the salt shaker! Those things are pure salt. I don't understand how anyone who remotely cares for the well-being of a child would allow one to eat that crap.

They're better off with an MRE, and you know how nasty they are....
