Motherless cocksuckers. My shit was out for delivery. Then I got a notification. Delayed
Your package is still on the way, but it will arrive later than originally expected due to a transit delay."

Called the worthless fuckstains. "Oh, sorry. The driver had too many packages today, so he went back to the office. You'll probably get it tomorrow."

I did call Amazon. They basically said "oh well." And the carrier is Amazon.

I wasn't aware Amazon had their own carrier until I did a quick search. You have to bring up that you want a month extension because they won't go out of their way.

Amazon is now operating their own delivery service?

Locally they use UPS for most stuff but also USPS and FexEx.

FedEx got me this week.

Your 2 packages that originated at the same time and place are out for delivery.

....later that day
Actually, one of them is in Salt Lake City and the other one is in Troutdale, OR.

12 hours later...
Yeah, that one in Troutdale is... back in Troutdale again.

BTW I don't live in Utah or Oregon. Go home FedEx. You're drunk.

Isn't that shitty delivery company, OnTrak, owned by Amazon?
They deliver a lot of their packages. Seems they only hire 3rd world Middle Easterners that A. can't drive, and B.can't drive.
If thats the best they can do, they better hurry up with the drones.

Yeah, I get all kinds of random people in their own cars delivering Amazon packages, sometimes late at night. They also have some white vans with Amazon decals on them, the cheap magnet kind. I suspect the have several/many different subcontractors they use.

They messed up an order for me a few weeks back. They asked me to contact them and confirm my address. I did and they had the wrong box number (last number was cut off). Get this, they updated the delivery address and overnighted another one… I ended up with two 5.11 Rush 72 bags. I called and they didn’t seem concerned.

Thanks, neither am I.

Yes, they have their own couriers now... And they fucking suck. I had something shipped to my office. The building has zero unlocked exterior doors and just one roll up door for vehicles that leads to a truck bay / loading dock / mail room. Anyone that has ever delivered something to a commercial address could easily, in less than a minute, figure out where to go. Guess who, somehow, couldn't figure it out?

The point I was trying to make was - if you just have to have it now or you are wound up that tight about it -  go to the store and get it yourself.

Don't order stuff online that you can't wait a day or two for.

Then it just magically shows up at your door. It makes life so much better for everyone.

The drivers are hired through Amazon Flex, it's essentially like Uber for delivering Amazon Prime to cities that participate. I read all up on it in the rideshare forums, and I actually applied because it's easy weekend or part time work that pays pretty decent for no more than you do, but reading the stories it's pretty clear they hire imbeciles who don't care, and Amazon doesn't have much of a handle on keeping people accountable or hiring and keeping good people. It's kind of a mess, from what I'm reading and seeing.

The guy who delivered my last package from Prime Now was an off-duty cab driver, and he chucked my items from the curb to my front door which split open the box and one of the bags inside, spilling the contents in the box.

Amazon is becoming a lot like Uber...good idea that has become a big, sloppy, unethical, unresponsive shell of its former self. They must have hired Ebay folks who are teaching them how to ruin a good thing.

Not a Millennial. Just someone who expects people to do their job and deliver the package I paid expedited shipping for. Accident, flooding, something like that, ok fine. I'll accept that for a delivery delay. Too many packages to deliver so he went back to the warehouse, fuck that. Unacceptable.
