| Which state in america is the most gun friendly and represents a true picture of america ? |
|
Texas is pretty low if my memory serves me right.
Here is a link |

Ohio. The gun laws aren't as good some of the others, but they are good, and we're fairly representative of the country as a whole. It's why we're perpetually a swing state in every election. Remember the +30 round may was a machine gun law. LMAO |

I'd guess that depends on your opinion of true America. I'd imagine most states have an area that would fit someone's idea of "true America". Going from rural to city with your opinion going right to left.
Gun laws AZ, or AK. NMs aren't bad but we could use some work. |

NH ... constitutional carry now. Never needed a permit to open carry. Concealed carry was a shall issue. Hunting with suppressors. Cash and carry in regards to a background check, (10 minutes). Knives, they are all legal. 18 years old to carry, etc, etc ,etc. I'd have to agree. The only thing that may edge us out is you can't have a loaded rifle in a vehicle. You can have it on the seat next to you with a pile of magazines on top of it, but you can't insert it into the magwell. Stupid hunting law that hopefully we'll change. |

Maine is pretty awesome with gun laws. Bloomberg wants to make an example of Maine. He lost big in our recent election, but he's not giving up. |

The whole 3 day wait period is dumb. Knocks Florida down several pegs. Obviously prevents it from being top tier.....but the application and support of Castle Doctrine far outweighs that and moves it up. I'm biased obviously. |

Ohio is probably the best mix of everything. It's delightfully average in every way. There's a little bit of (almost) every state present there. It really is a microcosm of America as a whole. Why do you ask, out of curiosity? |

So far i have been to vegas, dallas fortworth and orlando and i am looking for somewhere this year. I know the places i have been are tourist traps so now i want to experience the real deal. The problem is...what do you do for a couple of weeks? There's only so much "real America" (or Britain?) you can really discover without actually living there. I feel like it would be easier if you had a friend stateside who could take a couple of weeks off with you, and show you around. Best would be having you stay with him (for the full American experience ) instead of living out of a hotel. Maybe take you fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, shooting...stuff like that. I dunno. Otherwise, you're going to spend a couple few weeks eating at restaurants, seeing museums, and other "normal" touristy things people do, because you don't know what else there is to do. Except now you'll be doing it in areas without millions of people and an abundance of choices.
Tricky problem. It's actually one I want to solve myself, in reverse. |

Virginia is way up there.
Shall-issue ccw No-permit open carry No AWB Pre-emption of local gun ordinances VCDL Strong gun culture outside the cities and NoVA It just gets overlooked because of the Dem governor and two Dem Senators. The state legislature is under solid Republican control. I think 11 of the 15? Congressmen are Republican. Northern Virginia is heavily skewed due to all the fed .gov employees. |
