What do I get for the monthly fee?
anything worth watching or just the privilege to buy better programs/movies |

A ton of movies and TV shows. Typically not the latest and greatest but they have been putting out a bunch of their own original Series and Movies.
The last two weekends I binge watched Stranger Things and The OA. I'm not even a sci-fi fan and I was hooked on both. |
| Netflix original shows are usually pretty good. they have more and more crappy B and C movies though, as well as crap tv shows no one wants to see. I'm thinking about turning mine off for a few months until those shows I like pop back up. The best thing is that you can do that, turn it back on to catch up, and then turn it back off with out missing out. |

do they also mail you DVDs if you want, I think I saw there are 3 different prices (memberships) which one is best Personal preference really. I just use netflix to stream cause I don't want to buy cable. If a movie isn't on Netflix then they may have it on the DVD side of it Hulu, Netflix, Amazon all seem to share the same shows and movies, they may have one show that the others don't Hulu updates their shows when a new episode comes out so that is one benefit to it I have all 3 but I only use Hulu/Netflix mostly and then its mostly Hulu to keep up with shows that I enjoy that are still going on |

I'd love to know what th age breakdown is for people who like Netflix and those who don't.
My kid buys it. I think it sucks. Reruns of shit I've already seen. Let's say you want to watch a movie that WAS on Netflix......ooops so sorry, they deleted it. At one point I had three pages of movies /tv shows that I would like to see. Zero of them are on Netflix. Complete joke , I can't believe people pay for that shit. FTR I'm old ETA : For example....that thread about DNA testing has tons of people posting about the movie gattaca . I'd never heard of it, watched trailer, seems kinda cool. Guess what's NOT on Netflix ? |
