My husband seriously dislikes his days without a woman. He gets to be on Mr. Mom duty all day. I loved being Mr mom on those days. The girls and I always had fun, even if they were sick. Lots of books read and movies watched. Kinda miss it now they're grown. |

Meh.. once you been divorced from a drunken whore who goes in and out of rehab and mental facilities while you raise your children, you realize the whole thing is a scam. I worked full time and raised my kids and cooked and cleaned and did laundry and paid bills.
If you're a stay at home mom, you're living the dream. I'm remarried, we had sex last night and she packed my son's sandwich in his lunch this morning and she works full time too. |

He's like it more if one of the kids wasn't 4 months old. Can't reason with infants. ![]() I can honestly say that I was never really bothered by my daughter at that age. When she got unruly I just figured that came with babies, so I would walk around with her, swinging her and singing, or going outside and wandering the property. You're right; there is no reasoning with them, and it's a waste to try. if it was 2AM I would get up, shower and dress for work, and then spend as much time as necessary to clam her down. I'd put her to bed and go to work. when she cried at night it was generally me who went to check; when she started talking and had a nightmare she would call out for me to come to her ( "Daaadyyyyy!"). It kind of irritated the wife, oddly enough. |
| I love my wife but I absolutely look forward to the occasional Saturday without her. The house finally gets cleaned, I get to shoot in the morning, fix stuff, talk shit with buddies, and then for lunch I toss a chunk of meat on the grill and start planning the next 9 hours of bliss. |

Our country would be better off if women didn't work. More children would actually be supervised and nurtured, a bunch of bullshit unproductive jobs wouldn't exist anymore, and morale in the workplace would be off the charts. There's a hell of a nursing shortage as it is. I'm pretty happy that it's not any worse, which it certainly would be if we followed your plan. |

There are very few male housekeepers in motels and hotels as well. Could it be that housework is part of the job description in nursing? Could it be that men didn't evolve to do housework and women did? |

Could it be that men didn't evolve to do housework and women did? There's very little housework involved in nursing. There is, however, a lot of care taking, and that seems to be more of a feminine trait. Men can do an excellent job at it, but it doesn't seem to be a preferred male career option. |
