Wow he had to pay $75 for a tax for helping out his neighbor. Got to love the cities that love to impose fines for tax revenue. And that is all this is an illegal tax for helping someone out.

You can't just dump stuff in the street. That shit is a hazard just like if someone tossed a couple 2x4's out there or the dump trucks spilling dirt/gravel that we all love to bitch about.

Good fine

For fuck's sake.

Title is bullshit, every town I have lived has laws against throwing snow in the street -- which apparently this guy ignored and got fined for.

Read the original linked story found in OP's linked story.  He was not pushing snow from private property into the street.  He was moving snow to the curb from the street (which had not been plowed by the municipality) to create parking space for his neighbor.

You know, I just go to thinking...it's Idaho, exactly how much snow did he put in the street?  I mean, if it was an eight foot wall of packed snow, that's a whole other deal than just some shovelfuls!

I shoot (snowblower) that stuff in the middle of the street when I get to the end of the driveway.
On a very rare occasion a car passes by and gets hit.
