I made a video using these guys 22lr can awhile back, and they have updated the design and added a 9mm and 30cal can as well.

http://youtu.be/KKT3gKu4mjA

I asked them if the can unscrews at all during firing and he said they don't have issues with that.  I only shot a couple hundred rounds that day total and I didn't see any of the baffles come loose.

I think cans like this will get more and more popular if the HPA passes.

I have never met a .22 suppressor that didn't have a strong first round pop on a pistol. They are so quiet, that the O2 refire that is otherwise minimal in bigger calibers become a dominant part of the noise.

My .308 can has no distinguishable FRP.

A well made K baffle suppressor can have minimal FRP.

I have one in jail.
Might need to go ahead and throw some money towards the 9mm one as well.

Hmm, I've been told in the HPA threads that it's unpossible to make cheap supressors.

Clearly heresy and witchcraft at work here.

a .300 Win mag can in 7075 aluminum?

Hows that warranty?

IIRC, the Silencerco Harvester is rated for a 24" .300wm.

Hell, 7075-t6 has a yts of about 65ksi.

Exactly.  And this is a relatively small company producing at relatively low volumes and the HPA isn't even close to passing yet.

Per the Harvester white paper, the Harvester has SS baffles, and is fully welded. So Harvester =/= this thing.

You don't understand the R&D costs/material costs/advertisement costs/skilled workforce costs/you don't have a degree in fluid dynamics/you don't know black magic and how to properly sacrifice a virgin beard to the tactical gods of yore/you don't understand plasma and blast cutting/you'll put you're eye out/you don't understand how to use you're/people will die from shrapnel bombs at public ranges/go be poor somewhere else/do you even operate/the recoil from a SCAR would make the reticle break and the front will fall off/you're a dirty prole.

That's the best comparison that I've ever heard! There is quite a bit of "my stainless steel is better than your stainless steel " in the can industry.

This company is brilliant. Keeping retail reasonable, unique designs, etc is great. But the line holder promotion is genius! It's great for the customer, and it gives them working capital in the meantime. These guys deserve a beer or twelve!

In case you haven't noticed, congress isn't going to do a fucking thing.

they bent over and took every dicking Obama offered but when it comes to trump they found their balls.

republican party is no different than the democrats at this point.

Is there a difference between the 9mm one and the .22?  I mean, what would happen if you put the 9mm suppressor on a .22 host?  It would work, right?  I'm assuming the barrel threads are universal and it would fit both.

The hole is bigger in the middle of the 9mm can

It's also a bigger OD, so it would block the sights more.  But you are correct, you could use the 9mm version on a 22 and it would work just fine.

I've been saying that for years.

It was a really big reason I voted Trump in the primaries.

Voting for yet another Socialist-lite = Republicans was an act of insanity.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

It's not only STUPID.

It's a mental illness.

No different than liberalism.

Fucking Never Trumper 'Republicans'...
