mine the other day

ny strip, prime from local store (was on sale for half price)
did it Alotn brown way with charcoal chimney over the top broil method  --the char was fantastic..
then in oven for 4 min
then butter and garlic over the top whilst on hot fajita pan...
nom.

Why green onions?  I've honestly never even thought of trying that.  Any good?  

I usually go with dark and rich if I have anything on top of a steak.  Mushrooms, carmalized onions, etc

Needs more sear.

The onions on top don't really do much for it.
