| I dealt with Buds for years with all good experiences. Most of my purchases were used guns to include a Scar 17, a high end Browning Trap gun and a whole bunch of different Sig's. I never had a bad experience with Buds. The used guns were like new. Lately, either my appetite for more guns has subsided or their prices aren't has good as they were back a few years. |

I have never ordered from them, but my understanding is that deal in volume so while they have good deals and many people have good experiences with them, there are many who have had less than desirable experiences.
Some of their fuckups that have been posted here have been pretty damn bad. |
| Customer service can be hit or miss. When they miss, you hear about it. When they do a good job you don't hear about it. I've shopped there in person for years, since before they moved and before they were so popular. I even met Bud 10 years ago. I've had a couple bad experiences where someone was less than friendly, but they do so much volume today that it's probably not really fair to compare their customer service with that of the local competitors. Sometimes they get mobbed around holidays and make you take a number and wait. It makes sense that they'd be a little short sometimes. Mostly they do a decent job and they're usually cheaper. But to be honest I still prefer to buy from Classic across town. |

Just ordered from them, first time buying a gun online. As I've never done it before, maybe this is normal but it seems like they were pretty slow to ship it out. Took 8 days from ordering to leaving their warehouse. Tracker says delivery was attempted to day but FFL was closed. :/
CC fee was easy to avoid with e-check. Best price by far on the Savage MSR Recon I ordered, free shipping to boot. Next best would have tacked on $30 more for shipping. Talks about purchase protection and whatnot. Never had cause to use anything like that, don't know if it'd actually be helpful if the need arose. |
