At the same time, offering legitimate criticism is ok- not only is it ok, but we should be proud to live in a country where we can criticize our leaders without actual repercussions. Bottom line- you can support the President without agreeing with everything he does. |

Yes. Would I like him to be more diplomatic? Yes. Did he campaign with ham-fisted bombastic rhetoric? Yes. Did he get elected? Yes. I'd argue it was a component, just like populism and anti-Hillary were. Just like slapping the media with his dick and, frankly, stupid and misguided tweets were. Its a refreshing change of tone, is it good for the country long term? Remains to be seen. The path we are on, needs to change, is Trump the answer? Remains to be seen. Trump is not perfect. I had reservations about Trump all along and freely stated them. I voted for him because seriously... what kind of choice did I have? Hillary? Third party nobody without a chance in hell? So far I've been loving what The Donald has done and I hope that he keeps it up. So even though I don't drink the orange koolaid... I'm impressed so far and not feeling very critical of him. He's kicked more ass and taken more names in two weeks than anyone since Reagan. I give credit where it's due. |
