How does that even happen on the freeway? I would have thought that the added drag or the instability from a higher center of gravity would've clued the driver in quickly. I really have to call into question the drivers competency.Â

That happened around here five or so years ago.
A roll-away trash bin truck driver tried going underneath a highway underpass with the dumpster raised all the way up. It managed to bend three huge I beams before coming to an abrupt halt. And just like the white pickup driver in the above link, there were four other vehicles that had their phones in their faces and didn't see the dumpster incident coming. Idiots all of them. |
