Roomie left me a yuuge rib eye and some scotch for watching the dag while she is away. Figured it was a good excuse for a dinner pic.
Used Alton Brown's cast iron method. Lil oil, salt and some pepper..into a blazing hot cast iron pan for a sear. Then into the oven for about 3 min each side, rest for 10. It is a nice thick steak 
Whipped up some garlic roasted taters and some mushrooms. 
sizzzzle 
saute mushrooms in some butter, garlic and rosemary, finish off with some white whine 
taters get some butter and garlic, with a garnish of romano cheese after you take em out the oven 
mmmmm steak, could have been a weee bit less well done, but it's a nice med rareish 
in case I run into a zombie horde intent on eating my steak, plenty of firepower whisky is a Bruichladdich port charlotte islay

But how did you get that handguard? I'm new to the AR game and bought a PSA Side charging upper (same as bear creek) and been trying to figure out what to build with it and now I know!

Wrong. Stapler and measuring device are not required. Some people say they are required for breakfast pictures so I let that slide but putting them in a dinner pic gets points deducted. |
