Obongo would have put a black tarp over the tree and the sign would say Happy Holidays. When he came to Georgetown University, my friend who works there told me they had to put black linens on ALL the crosses and ALL religious ornaments at EVERY room he went to. He told me it was as if a Vampire or The Devil himself walked thought Georgetown University. VERY VERY Bizarre. |

Refreshing. Most welcome. My son's high school here in NY will not allow any Christmas parties. Never mind that the vast and overwhelming majority of the students are Christians. The faculty, however, are not. You'd think here in LeftieLand Connecticut , that we'd have the same problem , but my kids' school is always gushing with Christmas even including Jesus. also patriotism . they have tons of patriotic events. Veteran breakfasts, Independence Day celebrations, etc. I was ready for the nonsense I always hear about, but it never came. good bunch of teachers and administrators at their school. |

While it is a relief to finally see the political correctness is not his ideology, I am certain this is very calculated. While he is certainly playing to his base, he is also creating a momentum that is going to force his adversaries to get on board or be lost to the trash heap of history. Think about it, Hillary is not even a blip on the radar anywhere. The left is in complete chaos and disarray and will probably take decades to recover. Meanwhile the economic and political momentum he is commanding, even before taking office, will drive the political and ideological direction of the country for a generation as long as he stays on his message and delivers his promises. And he appears to be moving along just fine on his message. |
