Lot of talk lately about Revolution....many here fantasize about it but have no idea how one even starts.
There is a netflix special out called Winter On Fire. Its shot documentary style but it covers the begging of the conflict in Ukraine and how it started. Watch it and always keep in mind that there are international groups like MoveOn.org that put people in these places to help organize these events. |
| I like to refer people to Winter On Fire when they scoff at government tyranny, "it couldn't happen here" types, etc. That documentary certainly has it's biases but there are some parts that are really tough to spin. IIRC it's present day, color 1080p, unarmed people of the suburbs alone in the street getting shot long range by agents of the state, and medical personnel coming to their aid being shot right beside them. Not sure how it got to that point, but it's a far cry from their black and white history books hitler version of things that could never happen to a populace in their utopia. |
