Hand crafting only really matters if you know the guy doing the crafting. Some of the best beer I've ever had came from a local home brewing shop - the owner just handed me a beer, free of charge, and it was one of the best beers I've ever had anywhere. That was hand crafting you could live with, the rest is marketing bullshit especially when they are getting 20x the normal market price for their stuff.
