I bang out a few miles or hit the gym with a TCP or LC9s in a belly band, but for hiking I definitely want a Hill People Gear chest rig.

When I could run I used to carry a very small 5 shot  .38 belly gun in an ankle holster, ended up having to add weight to my other ankle to be balanced out!

I don't carry when running.
Now hiking, I carry the big boy 10mm.

I use a belly band with a ruger lcp at 3 o'clock backed up with 2 mags. Anything heavier causes the belly band to shift.

I run with a S&W 642 in a Smartcarry belly band.  Works great.  I run in the evenings, and this time of year it's dark when I go.

I jog with a Glock 43 in a Hill People Gear snubby kit. There is enough room in the front for my Magpul DAKA wallet, a reload, my phone and a house key or key fob. I really like it a lot.

Hey now, I live close enough to work that I walk. Now that it's getting dark out early, I give my high school aged employee a ride home from work every night he works, since he has to walk past my house to get to his. Less than a half mile, but I don't like him walking home in the dark, even though it's less than a mile.

Also good, because he's definitely conservative, so we can talk guns and carrying. His biggest issue with going to college is that he's not going to be old enough to have a gun to protect himself without living off campus, and can't carry on campus either. Kid definitely has his head screwed on right.

ETA: fuck running, cool if you're into it, but I screwed my ankle up enough from skateboarding, that I don't even consider it an exercise option.

I'm putting one on my wish list this year. What models are good? I want utility but probably lower profile than a PALS-festooned pouch.

Kinda this. I did a 5K last Thanksgiving but was chomping Motrin before and after. This year, the number of screws in my leg quadrupled from 3 to 12 + a fibula plate compared with last year's 3 larger femur & tibia screws, torn meniscus, and heavily worn knee ligament & bone grafts from 20 years ago.

Belly band folks. What about sweat? Do you just have to clean everyday?

Referring to the gun not the belly band. Sorry.

This is what I use. Old water bottle carrier from Western States 100 Miler. USPC .45.

On the occasion that I run I always wear a 15 lb vest and a camelbak so that with the extra weight I don't have to run as far. I usually stuff a p226 in the camelbak (extra weight equals less distance. On a different note I also try for hills so I can run even less.

I'm a weightlifter. My wife makes me run
