We are heading to the Sig Academy in Epping tomorrow. Never been there, but I here the store is good. Anyone been there recently? Do they carry preowned Sigs at the store? Should I wear a bib, or just bring a roll of paper towels? |

It's a nice store they have every Sig they make there on display. I don't think they do used guns but they do have bargin bins with used mags, holsters etc. TONs of parts for Sigs.
They also have lots of accessories ammo clothes you name it. Hit up the Holy Grail or Goode Coles for lunch. Thurman |

I didn't recall any used guns for sale, but being out of state (and not enough extra money at the time mostly) just looked. |

I believe they do offer discounts to students who have attended classes there. |

OP, are you taking a class or just going to shop? I love their videos and I'm dieing to take a class there. It's only about 5 or 6 hours from me. The classes are excellent. I've done two courses so far, and I'm going to try to get my unit to take a pistol class there. They do a one day pistol class for military units about once a month. Sig provides the pistols, ammo, eyes, and ears. All the unit has to do is provide the bodies. (It's a tax write-off for Sig, and their new instructors get teaching experience) And yes, most of the stuff they offer is full price there. But if you take a class, you get a significant discount. So, OP, if you're planning on having your wife attend the class, wait until then to make purchases. Until then, just go drool.

Haven't been to SIG Academy, but ride my bike on the Rockingham Recreational Trail, less than a mile from it, all the time. It's an awesome 30 mile long bike/snowmobile trail. If you're looking for a place to eat, the Tuckaway is just 5 miles west, just off Rt. 101, and amazing. They have a huge butcher shop with more than a dozen flavors of sausage as well. There's actually a number of different places that serve decent food in that area. You just have to hunt for them. Of note, Open Carry is legal in New Hampshire, just be considerate about it, and be a good ambassador for gun owners, please. I've only had two people say anything about it in New Hampshire, and both were just curious, and supportive. "Going to the range? I hope you have fun. What are you shooting?" and "My dad carries a gun, too." |

Out on the trail with the new bike just yesterday, often times you can hear plenty of gunfire from Sig, full auto on occasions. Last year they had a word-of-mouth-only sale on Black Friday, 40% off, but that's off of full MSRP. They may well have that again this year, the line was long well before opening time, scored a 716 Patroll for a bit less than $1,500. |
