Will check the floor plates tomorrow. CDNN has some C Products 5.45 mags in stock. There was a thread in the tech section on how to modify the followers on windowed Gen 2 Pmags to feed 5.45 reliably. |

ASC has been perfect in my two different platforms for thousands of rounds. Its really the only mag for a 5.45 in an AR.
I clean, but I wanted the little extra insurance of the piston, just like only buying parts with the melonite coatings. And really, researching and building it was fun. |

I just went with a Ballistic Advantage upper which used NiB or melonite on the critical parts. Typically shoot 4-5 ribs of commercial 5.45 before I case the rifle then clean it when I get home. |

Sorry, forgot to add this last night, I have ASC mags but I had to disassemble them and lube them with PB Blaster to get them to feed properly. Initially, without lubing, I was having issues with the mags when they were loaded with more than 20 rounds loaded. After the PB Blaster I've had no issues. |
