| Just got off the phone with a friend of mine late to the party and wanting to buy a couple of AR15s and a PTR91 NOW. Plus ammo. Told him he was holding up me casually going out for breakfast, since I had stocked up over the years and not buying during a frenzy again. |

I'm just buying ammo and paying for classes for the winter. Not panic buys, just the usual training budget.
I did realize the other day that all I had for 5.56 was green tip and 77gr Precision loads. I'll need a couple thousand round of Wolf Gold after the panic dies down for classes in march. If I have to FO in the meantime, I have plenty of green tip to make it rain. Hell I just realized I have over 2000 rounds of Ranger T and Federal HST 9mm while looking for some 12 gauge target loads this morning I've misplaced. That's on top of cases of ball ammo. I did hop on some D&H mags with Magpul followers at 7 bucks each the other day. Might as well have some metal mags in the stash as well. |
I'm not going to say this is a panic buy, but I did hasten my decision. I've wanted a Colt 6945 SBR to go with my 6933. Capitol had them in stock this morning so I picked one up.
For reference here's my 6933: 
I've had a challenging year health wise so this is a "you made it through" purchase. If Trump wins I'm going to officially name the rifle "Freedom Boner". If Hildabeast wins I'll have to come up with a different name

The bankers,Wall Street,Silicon Valley,Hollywood,the Chicoms (for Hillary) are going to make our lives miserable over the next four years... Getting prepared is not a silly thing...any time you stock up on stuff that may be hard to get or at least good for barter down the road is a good idea. |
