may be a dupe, but so what.
This would be the best thing for the rest of the country. It would never happen, but theoretically: California is a reliable blue state with the most electoral votes of any state. Take them out of the equation, and the rest of the country has alot more even playing field. |

Californians would have to have a passport to travel to Southern Utah to hunt, NV to gamble, or anywhere else in America to live.....Baaaaaaahaaaaa!!! There was a time....I lived through it....when California was a reliable Red state and a great place to grow up in.

State of Jefferson for example. The state is too large and diverse to be represented fairly by the small group of people in Sacramento. Just look at how cut up the East Coast is and then compare that to California being all one state. |
