I've seen those stingball grenades used in prison riots. They work very well, bust up riots real quick. The psychology behind them is that in a riot, people feel like they're safe from the consequences of their actions. If you inflict pain on the individuals in a mob, they realize there are consequences. The stingball grenade brings that awareness to everyone in the blast radius, everyone breaks and scatters. |
