I've seen those stingball grenades used in prison riots. They work very well, bust up riots real quick.
The psychology behind them is that in a riot, people feel like they're safe from the consequences of their actions. If you inflict pain on the individuals in a mob, they realize there are consequences. The stingball grenade brings that awareness to everyone in the blast radius, everyone breaks and scatters. |

Actually, it was the instructor certification from the ALS factory in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. We had alot of fun and learned alot -- don't read into the fun video that I edited just because we are all smiling. |

for the big one and dial up just use Getright so you can pause and resume the download
on the little one pause it at 12 seconds and use the slider bar to go frame by frame. one frame is pure white, I guess they really do make a flash |

On the topic of riot control munitions, I am rather more interested in hearing the fun things the USMC are doing in Iraq with microwave "heat gun" emitters[:)]
Supposedly they clean out a crowd better than water cannons and far more portable. |

I've seen the results of someone walking in front of a microwave communications transmitter in the Army. Not very nice. The low power stuff should feel like heat on the skin, but not much more.
