I have been doing 44 pushups a day to keep the veteran suicide epidemic in front of everyone. 22KILL asked people to do 22 pushups a day for 22 days and post a video each on social media. With #22PUSHUP for #22KILL I am now posting the video with #44PUSHUPS for #22KILL I started this last year doing 22 a day for 22 days more than once. I had the Orange Theory Fitness I go to have 22 pushup days to bring awareness to the issue. I have made a promise as long as there is a problem with the care of our vets I will do 44 or more pushups a day until I am physically unable to do them. I am 74 and don't have the best form and I doubt in any branch of the military I would never have gotten beyond the count of 1 but I try. She said she had a lot of support and just as much hate some asking her to leave. I had some health issues yesterday and did not do the 44 after I left the polling place I had to go to Verizon and did another 44 to make up for yesterday. |
