Truck is a 91 k1500 4wd. The code circled in yellow is GU6 which means 3.42 gears in the diffs.

What I'm trying to find out is what's the code circled in red? Most if all the G codes are relate to gears in the diffs and theres a few for different types of positractions, but that code's so unreadable I cant figure it out.

Trying to find out what type of transfer case it has too.

Holy shit GD is filled with savants recalling copious amounts of random knowledge.

ETA: This is coming out of sheer amazement on my part... first reply was just over two minutes.

Thanks!

I'll poke around under it tomorrow for the transfer case tag.

One of those "N" codes refers to your transfer case.  I can't remember what it is on a GMt400 as its been too long but on the GMT800s you'll see NP8, NP1, etc for the different manual vs. electronic cases.

For rear end lockers you want to have the G80 code.  No G80 = no "posi".  Also if you're wondering you have a 305 5.0 TBI engine that puts out about 190hp  (L03) and a 700R4 transmission (MD8)
