Use your Smart Phones to record your vote

Meh. Looks like a calibration issue. I bet if they tapped the screen in the yellow area above the check box for the R it would have checked the R. Still, should be calibrated correctly. Yeah that's what I'm thinking also. Badly calibrated. They got to vote R up top. Still needs to be fixed and how many people won't pay attention. Ours use a jog wheel and aren't touch screens |

I know in Texas, or at least my area, the touch screen ballot process shows you a summary of all the candidates you've selected before you hit the big CONFIRM button. The video posted here doesn't show a vote being changed, it shows an improperly calibrated touch screen. |

I programmed these machines. I want a dem to win so I thought I would be super clever and change R votes to D votes. I wanted to be a real jerk about it, though. So, instead of switching it behind the scenes so as to never be caught and assuredly reach my goal, I thought I would take a more "in your face" approach and do it in such a way that people could not only see their vote being switched but record it on their phones for proof!
Go ahead and file this under "old man yells at cloud." |

Calibration means the entire screen would be off, and he was able to select the republican in the section above. If the calibration was off he wouldn't be able to have selected the selection above either. Also, really funny for the calibration to be off the exact amount and in the exact direction that the selections are spaced. It's possible. But it has to be a coincidence that it is calibration. And a coincidence that the calibration is off by 1/2". And the calibration is off directly below the click, not to the left, right, diagonal, etc. And it's coincidence that all the democrats are listed exactly 1/2" below the republican. It's possible, but for it to be a calibration issue that is a LOT of coincidences. Especially considering this is the 3rd or 4th report of this from different sources. ETA: Also - IMPOSSIBLE for this to be a calibration issue when you select "straight ticket R" and your screen selects some R and some D candidates. That's not calibration, that's fucky machines. http://www.breitbart.com/texas/2016/10/25/texas-voting-machines-clinton-kaine-straight-republican/ |

Still, should be calibrated correctly. That means the screen shifted, which is normal for touch screens. What it doesn't mean is someone hacked the software to change people's votes. That would be a bigger issue. This issue is just a dump poll worker being dumb instead of a vast conspiracy. It's not OK either and someone should raise hell with the poll workers. |

Thankfully we use paper here in Florida. But it still goes in a machine to count it. At least in my AO. I th8nk it's a Scantron machine. Yeah it does eventually go through a machine but there is a paper trail at least. After I fill in the ballot I walk it to the election dude and he instructs me on how to insert it in the machine, then we both watch as it's taken in and registered as voted on the screen. To me that's about as secure as it gets these days, but yeah it does still go through a machine. |

Our electronic ones do an electronic tally and a paper tally. |

Thats cute some of you actually think a conspiracy for mass voter fraud, carefully orchestrated and applied to the voting machines. And they neglected to hide from the voter it's changing your vote. lmao. so gullible.
It's a bad calibration of the screen from the factory. I used to work with these machines. Thats why it asks you like 4 times of your votes are correct before submitting them. If your vote is wrong, it's because your a dumb-ass. |

with the type of fraud on these older types of machines that read paper ballots, you never even notice it, until the final printout is tallied. which means its not noticed at all, unless you know what the input ballots are and compare it against the output. ETA: found it Quoted:

It keeps my paper ballot in the machine and doesn't print anything out, just has a screen that verifies that it's been counted and saved. I guess I hold out hope that it's on the up and up since the paper ballot still exists and it stored in the machine for easy manual counting if needed. |
