| The head size to body size of that bear, regardless of the gut shows that is one big bear. Without the gut it looks like the body is at least 2x the diameter of the skull where the neck meets the body. It takes a big bear to make a bear's head look small, since bears usually have heads that look out of proportion large compared to the body. |

Looks like a nice bear to me as well..why people don't mark all trees in the are with rings soothe can better judge size is beyond me...me mark ours every 6" from 2' to 8'.. Just makes it so much easier to confirm at a glance....even on cams... |
