Every couple of shots the scope rings on my new rifle seem to come loose, and the whole thing comes out of allignment.  I have a 3-12 scope with quick detach rings.
Does anybody else have a problem with these?  Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix, or keep it from coming loose so often?

1) Get rings that fit
2) Get better rings
3) tighten properly

What sort of rings (who made them?) and are they coming loose from the rifle or are the rings loosening from the scope?

Even my 444 marlin doesn't shake my QD Leupolds loose and it didn't shake the cheap-a** weaver brand rings I had on there at first.

They came off another scope in the store, so I dont know the who made them.  And they keep coming loose from the gun not the scope.

Have you tried a little finger nail polish on top of the screws after you have them tightend down?  Try that or the weaker thread lock.

They are quick release rings, with just knobs you twist to tighten, no screws are involved.

Sounds like Weaver brand rings. Try using a screwdriver in the slot to tighten. Realistically I would dump those and get rings better quality rings like Leupold.
