This is the best time of year along the Front Range in Colorado--mild, sunny days, day after day, with cool, clear nights. The stars of summer are dropping in the west, the stars of fall and winter rise a little later in the evening, but earlier each night. The aspen are turning now in the high country, and it's snowed a few times already up high. And you never know how long it will last... I've seen it stay mild and sunny well into December, and I've seen it snow three feet in the middle of October.

The Harley runs soooo much smoother in the colder weather. The Sun is hot mid day, the liquor tastes a bit sweeter, and for some reason the women look way hotter in those early Fall clothes.
