Helps if you have good headphones, but it's interesting to hear how high you can go in each ear.

My right ear goes deaf between 10kHz and 11 kHz.  My left ear is gone at about 6500 Hz.

Nice.  Take good care of them.  Also, you must be fairly young.

I just had a test at work, don't know what the numbers were, but I have good hearing.

It really depends on your headphones, if you have PC speakers it is even worse.

My cheap headphones at home I can only hear to about 11-12k, my AKG 701 at work I can hear over 16k

That's very good.  IIRC, very few can hear all the way to 20kHz, even when very young.  I believe most people fade out about 15kHz.

18k even with the TV on and the sound from it. Yet now need to take some aspirin cause fuck that gave me a headache. Not bad for 40yo yet I didn't spend time going to concerts and always wear good hearing protection when I go shooting.

Over 15k, but with the cheapest earbuds I could buy. Switched to acoustic tube and the frequency response was just over 7k, HA!

11k right,  15k left.

I have had a concussion and trauma to right ear though, beam strike to right side head, and fall to floor from 10ft up...landed on floor.

Slight tinnitus...i always have ear plugs with me and use them around
Machines  and tools...others' opinions about always ear plugging disregarded.
