Is it me or did they never show Silva during any of the battle scenes shooting or even there at all? Maybe I just missed it. |

Ok so around that time when one says "Upstairs window" I see him fire a couple of rounds. Just seems like they didn't put him in many scenes like that. Maybe because he is more of a star than the others and didn't want to take away from the others. I have watched these scenes multiple times this past week and I just noticed it today. Not trying to start anything just curious where he was at. Thanks for pointing out the scene. |

Watch it again and get back to us then. Quoted:

I noticed it was a good movie that I'd watch again without hesitation. Watch it again and get back to us then. I lied, I got it at the house and have watched it three times. We're right now running a large run of mounts for fixing NV on the M240 ... would have come in handy that night. |

Just finished my second read-through of the book, Silva was standing watch on Building D IIRC which gave them a view of the western area of approach. The first attack came from the North, covered by building C. I know there was mention of Silva adding his rifle fire to Tig Tiegan's at some point during the second firefight but I can't remember exactly. Those guys were bouncing around all over the place that night, I'm sure they all put some lead downrange at some point. |

The book differs slightly from the movie I think they did some things different in the movie so they could compress the whole 13 hours a little better. |
