I know the SR-25 is in use by our military and I know that most military rifles are able to have their magazines loaded via stripper clips.

So my question is-

What do SR-25 users do?

I understand they can carry multiple mags but do the 7.62 rounds just arrive loose in Ammo cans?

I don't see why an M14 spoon wouldn't work with M110 mags.

If I remember right, the 7.62 ammo I used as a sniper always came in 20 round cardboard boxes, which were in .50 ammo cans.  That was true of "Lake City Match," Special Ball," (I think it was designated M118), and M118LR.  None of those were on stripper clips.

The rounds were loaded one at a time into the magazine, whether detachable box magazine, or internal magazine.  On the M40 series, it was directly into the rifle-- most often from the top with the bolt back.  I saw a couple guys load the upside down rifle through the bottom with the floor plate open, but it never worked well for me.

I fired the SR-25 and MK11, but was never issued one.  I carried a MK14 MOD 0, and it was always one at a time into the magazine.

in the USA 7.62 does not come on stripper clips anymore.
M118LR comes in 20 round boxes.
there is no provision for using strippers with M110 magazines
