I am now a FSA GI bill money sucking scumbag stealing all of your tax dollars, and not working at all. Its great. Taking 13 units this semester.

Bought a new computer 5 or so months ago and haven't used it for anything but ARFCOM and spotify.

Just sat down to start my first homework assignments and this fucking thing has no word processor on it besides note pad. Trying to avoid paying for MS Office until the GI bill money starts flowing or ever. That spare money is ear marked for my upcoming membership renewal on here. I do believe I have a 30 day trial of Office avilabe but a more permanent solution would be ideal.

I have Windows 10 Home on an ASUS lap top.

Thanks guys!

Just found this while searching. Seems like it will work for the weekend.

*Checking School web book store to see if they offer Office codes there. I remember something like this back when I was active duty but never needed it.*

Open office and libre office are free.

But you would be better served to get the school's discounted/free MS Office.

Ok I found out how to get office for 10 bucks. So glad you guys reminded me about that.

They have several other products in a bundle, not really interested with the anti virus that comes bundled but there is something called WhiteSmoke, that appears to be a grammar helper. Anybody ever use that program? It would be 14 bucks more to get the AV and Whitesmoke programs.

Depending on your requirements the options are: discounted MS Office through school, LibreOffice, Google Docs Online or MS Word Online.

I heard about Open Office and have it downloaded.  I don't use it except sometimes when I watch a slide show that was originally made on MS Word/Office (which I don't have).

Anyway....LOL.....I'm happy with my MS Works (IIRC, updates not available anymore) that I bought way back in the 80s.

Aloha, Mark

I spent at least 15 minutes trying to figure out where they hid Wicrosoft Works on this guy, it has been standard issue with solitaire since my parents bought our first windows 98 powered computer.
