Went to a local fair today.  Saw this and had to try it...  From the bottom up:  collard greens, BBQ pork, corn, mashed potato, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and a piece of bacon.  Have to say, pretty creative "walking around" fair food.  It was OK - the pork/sauce was mediocre but, if it had been good, the whole thing would have been great.

So what's your favorite fair/carnival food?

Bratwurst, German style in a ridiculously tiny bread roll!

They really aren't that good, but if I go to a fair I get a ridiculous turkey leg.

I concur.  They didn't have any brats there today but lots of sausage and kielbasa.

I haven't been to the Texas state fair in years and probably wont go again unless they move it away from the ghetto shit its surrounded by , but I do miss the corny dogs and giant turkey legs. I havent been since the " deep fry all the things" movement started so I've missed out on a lot.

Funnel cakes aren't really walking around food, but I love those things!

That looks so disgusting.

I like elephant ears in the U.S. and gaufres in France.

Head on down to Big Head Joe's and try the Meat Tornado.
Will be way better than that meat parfait. That doesn't have much meat.

That is not a meat parfait, that is a country dinner. It has it all.

Oh snap  I use to do that with a frozen dinner as a kid.  Mesquite BBQ chicken, scalloped potatoes, and corn, in a red solo cup togo.

Damn i was lil porker back then.

So, what you're saying is that Bratwurst is the answer to "403 Forbidden"?
