So the wife unit deleted a photo from her Motorola XT1080 and it wasn't a photo it was the entire album. I used to work in IT before moving to medicine, so I have an iota of 2005 knowledge. I've become an Iphone person given my business clients so I joined that cult. I've tried plugging it into our PC but it won't recognize it as a drive for my go to data recovery program. The apps are tits on a bull useless and there is no SD card. Anyone have a lifeline? And because we have rules and you guys like nice racks...  |

Any kind of auto backup to cloud like Google Photos? Short of that and no SD I'm leaning toward gone, especially if the PC won't recognize it as a drive. Did you select the option on the phone when you connected to PC to see as drive? Mine does, otherwise it is just charging. Every Android I have used did that. If you can get into it *maybe* there is a chance. Good luck. ETA: sometimes there is an option in the settings to ask what to do when connected to a PC. Might want to look around in there if it doesn't ask automatically. |
