Other than Otterbox, who makes a good case for my phone.

I noticed that Magpul makes one, but I don't think it is of the same protection as the Otter.

Why not Otter? I was climbing on top of a canopy at a gas station and my phone and clip (otter box) were knocked off my pocket; fell at least 15' on concrete- no damage.

Bought a Magpul case for my wife's phone, she prefers a cheaper clear case from Amazon. My Grandmother uses a Pelican phone case (seems in the same ballpark as the Magpul) and she hasn't broken anything yet.

Good luck!

I didn't mean that I don't like Otter. Quite the contrary.

I have had Otter on my last 3 phones and have never had a problem or breakage.

I was simply wanting to know if there was something "better".

For $25, I will likely just go with Otter again

I've had Lifeprood Nuud cases on my last few phones and been happy with them.  They fall apart eventually, but I'm pretty much ready for a new phone by then.

I just upgraded my Iphone 4 to the 5se at AT&T.
Saw this plastic case, asked how much.  Salesman said $42.

Went to amazon, found a LUVVITT case for $9, has metal backing too.

Used Otterboxes on my last 2 phones (one Defender and one Commuter).  Both protected my phone great, for many drops.

I'm using an Urban Armor Gear on my current phone (S7).  I've dropped my phone many times already, and even with the glass back of the S7, I haven't had any damage to my phone.

S7 here.    I like the urban armor gear but couldn't get the screen protector on right, sent back and bought the griffin survivor, had both for m6 s5 as well

Can't go wrong with either one

Another vote for U.A.G. - Urban Armor Gear.

I loved the Magpul prior generations but I've bought 2 for my iphone 6 and both are loose and the corner tend to flex/pop up when going in and out of my pocket.

The Speck Candyshell with the rubber grip is a nice case as well.

I've had great luck with Spigen. I have used them on my last two phones. They make several different styles for all the models they cover.

My life proof has saved my iPhone numerous times from falls and water (several dumps in rivers lakes and ocean while fishing/kayaking). No issues at all. Buddy of mine had his life proof fail and his phone was ruined. Had a new iPhone courtesy of life proof in 3 days.

Lifeproof Fre is the best IMO.
