Was doing a couple odds and end things in the garage and kept hearing a buzzing noise over by the welder. Stuck my ear on the wall and BZZZZZZZ is all I hear. Damn yellow jackets got into the wall from underneath the overhang through   1/4 x 1/2 hole and seem to have quite the nest going. Already applied chemical warfare, we'll see if any survive by morning.

My wife swears by a mix of essential oils and Dr Bronner's liquid soap. Put it in a spray bottle and have at 'em. The soap will kill them and the oils stink to their nasty little noses.

Dr Bronner's is that stuff with the weird quasi-philosophical crap covering the lable. I don't buy it for the philosophy; it's good soap.

The soapy water is grest if you can directly spray the nest, it drowns them. Otherwise real chemical warfare is required.
