There's been a lot of interest in FN's semi-auto M249S
and thought this would be interesting to members of the Hive who have never loaded/fired a belt-fed weapon From Tim Yan......has a blonde in it so figured Arfcom would like it.....along with an FN rep http://www.alloutdoorstech.com/photo-video/tyan/video-loading-firing-fn-usa-m249s/ |

Is this more click-bait self promoting garbage like the last nonsense I saw of yours, where the guy made stupid noises every time he shot a suppressed gun? Frankly I see zero point in a semi auto M249..
ummm..........it's neither my website or video chummy...... I thought the vid of Jim Fuller was pretty funny.....and it was extremely quiet for a suppressed Kalashnikov which was chambered in...........300 BLK Do you even know who Jim Fuller is?
but whatever |

but whatever Jim Fuller isn't your run of the mill internet tweeb. He's got more street cred with AK's than 99% of the gun community. |

You're welcome she's cute and all, but FN really needs some better video editors. She looks so unamused. I bet she complains during sex. |

Any one make a bump fire stock for it yet? I doubt there is enough demand for them to produce one. But I bet you could make one

I would like to see a binary trigger setup for them. I've hit a pretty steady 600 to 700rpm with binary setups. |

Ehhh... a semi auto belt fed. Wonder if a slidefire would work? I am sure Slidefire has a design already......however, for a $8000-$10000 (w/ spare barrel & accessories kit) gun, how many real buyers will be worth it to put it in production? |

Without the blonde that would have been the worst belt fed video Ive ever seen.
I would say FN is going to have to step it up to sell these but from what ive heard they are flying off the selves, even at $7,000 to $8,000 a piece. You can buy a transferable REAL full auto for that price |

I hate the SAW. Our SAW's were constantly down. When they weren't down they were always having some sort of issues. During a firefight, you would wonder at what point is the SAW going to fail in some sort of way. 240 is the way to go "SAWS" or M249 have a 75,000 round receiver life... this is per FN So after a few "training cycles" you can easily reach that number... the M60 has a receiver "stretch" gauge for a reason. http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/m60receiverstretchgauge.aspx But for some reason they did not think they needed it on the 249 it has to do with the construction of the receiver. there is a reason the M240 has a longer receiver life even though it is 7.62Nato but what the fuck do I know |

Ehhh... a semi auto belt fed. As bad as a straight pull semi auto It's a silly complaint though. No one in their right mind would chose either and they only exist due to oppressive gun laws. It's not by choice but by default. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
