A nice trip downriver turned nightmarish for three women, who found themselves stranded after heeding some faulty advice.
MLive reports that the three women, all Michigan residents, showed up at the launch site near Maple Island Road bridge on Tuesday afternoon. It was their first time tubing down the Muskegon River. Someone near the bridge reportedly told the trio that the river runs in a circle and would eventually bring them back to wherever they started.
